Role Description The General Manager at Urja Senior Living will oversee daily operations of the community, ensuring high-quality resident services, safety, and satisfaction in an on-site role based in Indore. This full time position includes managing staff schedules and performance, coordinating with medical and wellness teams, and maintaining service standards across housekeeping, dining, and facilities.

The General

Manager will handle resident and family interactions, address concerns, and support smooth move-ins and transitions. They will manage budgets, monitor occupancy, ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met, and implement operational improvements.



The role also involves collaborating on community events, marketing initiatives, and partnerships that enhance the reputation and experience of Urja Senior Living.

Qualifications

- Experience in operations management, preferably in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or residential community settings.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Proficiency in customer service and relationship management, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
- Knowledge of basic financial management, budgeting, and reporting for day-to-day operational oversight.
- Ability to ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards in a residential care environment.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail.
- Comfort with using office software and digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in management, hospitality, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in an on-site managerial role and willingness to be present and available to residents and staff as needed.
