Role Description The General Manager – Finance & Account is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of the organization. The role includes managing financial planning and analysis, preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping and reporting.

The General

Manager will establish and maintain robust internal controls, oversee statutory compliance and audits, and coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve budgeting, cost control, variance analysis,



and supporting strategic decision-making with data-driven financial insights. The individual will lead the finance and accounts team, implement process improvements, and ensure alignment of financial practices with company policies and long-term business objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Finance and Accounting skills, with experience in managing end-to-end financial operations.

- Candidates should be proficient in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

- Candidates should demonstrate robust Analytical Skills to support budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and strategic financial decision-making.

- Candidates should have expertise in designing, implementing, and monitoring Internal Controls to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and accurate financial reporting.

- Relevant professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent are highly beneficial.

- Experience in project-based businesses, IT/technology services, or government/PSU contracts is an advantage.

- Proficiency in ERP and accounting software, strong MS Excel skills, and familiarity with Indian taxation and regulatory frameworks are desirable.

- Demonstrated leadership abilities, team management experience, and clear written and verbal communication skills are expected.
