GCP Cloud security Engineer

Location- Hybrid at Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement security controls across GCP environments.
- Manage IAM, service accounts, roles, policies, and least-privilege access.
- Secure GCP networking using VPC, firewall rules, Cloud Armor, VPN, and Private Service Connect.
- Implement security monitoring using Security Command Center, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Chronicle/SIEM.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews.
- Secure GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and other GCP services.
- Implement encryption, key management, secrets management, and data protection using Cloud KMS and Secret Manager.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and controls.
- Support incident detection, investigation, response, and remediation.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Automate security tasks using Terraform,



Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
- Support regulatory and compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, or organizational standards.

Required Skills
- 3–7+ years of experience in cloud or cybersecurity engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Robust knowledge of GCP IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Security Command Center, Cloud KMS, and Cloud Armor.
- Experience with cloud security architecture and zero-trust principles.
- Knowledge of networking, Linux, containers, Kubernetes, and APIs.
- Experience with Terraform/IaC and security automation.
- Familiarity with SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Understanding of DevSecOps and CI/CD security.
