Overview The Assistant Manager - MIS will be responsible for driving Power BI initiatives, developing and implementing innovative solutions, and managing a team of Power BI professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Power BI tools and technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team effectively. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for process improvement and a strong command of written and spoken English

How you'll make an impact

1. Power BI Development:

- Design, develop, and implement Power BI solutions using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Advanced Excel, Power Apps, and MS Access.
- Create and maintain web-based applications to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
- Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for Power BI and optimization.

2. Team Management:

- Lead and manage a team of Power BI professionals, ensuring timely delivery of projects and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide mentorship, training,



and guidance to team members to enhance their technical and professional skills.
- Allocate resources effectively and manage team performance to meet organizational goals.

3. Project Management:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored Power BI solutions.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring successful execution of Power BI initiatives.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

4. Technical Expertise:

- Utilize advanced knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Advanced Excel, Power Apps, and MS Access to deliver high-quality Power BI solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI tools, technologies, and trends to drive innovation.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of Power BI solutions.

5. Communication and Documentation:

- Prepare detailed documentation for Power BI processes, workflows, and solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Present Power BI solutions and project outcomes to senior management in a clear and concise manner.

6. Technical Proficiency:

- Expertise in Power BI, SQL, Advanced Excel, Power Apps, and MS Access.




- Experience in creating web-based applications

7. Leadership and Team Management:

- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of Power BI professionals.
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills to develop team capabilities.

8. Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking:

- Strong analytical skills to identify process inefficiencies and develop Power BI solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.

9. Project Management:

- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and delivering results.

About you

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-8 years of core Power BI experience, with at least 4 years in a team management role.
