Role Description The Frontend Intern (ReactJS) will support the development and improvement of Queues’ web interface and user-facing features. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will implement UI components using ReactJS, collaborate with designers and developers to translate wireframes into responsive layouts, and help optimize performance and usability across devices.
Responsibilities include fixing frontend bugs, writing clean and maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and assisting with testing and documentation of new features. This is a remote internship role,
offering hands-on experience in building production-ready interfaces for a dynamic ticket marketplace.
Qualifications
- Foundational proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for building modern web interfaces.
- Ability to work with component-based architectures, state management (e.g., hooks or basic state libraries), and RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and basic UI/UX best practices.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and common frontend build tools or package managers (e.g., npm, yarn).
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly in a collaborative environment.
- Effective communication skills and comfort working remotely with distributed teams.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous project or internship experience in frontend development, especially on consumer-facing products, is a plus.
