Freight Business Performance Manager P&L; & Commercial MIS - SME

What You Will Do:

- Own the business MIS and profitability view across freight operations

- Analyse revenue, freight cost, buying/selling rates, surcharges, handling, agent costs and other cost components to arrive at true shipment/customer profitability

- Identify margin leakage, incorrect costing, under-pricing, cost overruns and loss-making business

- Analyse P&L; by customer, trade lane, origin/destination, carrier, product, salesperson and shipment

- Build management dashboards and reports that answer “What happened, why did it happen and what should we do?”

- Highlight commercially relevant trends and opportunities—not just report numbers

- Bring discipline to data and ensure management has a single, reliable view of freight performance





- Liaise with IT service provider for System Improvements and correct reports

What We Are Looking For:

- 7–10 years of experience MIS with freight forwarding/logistics recommended

- Strong understanding of Ocean and/or Air Freight economics and operations

- Excellent Excel/MIS capability and comfort working with large datasets

- Solid understanding of revenue, gross margin, contribution and freight cost structures

- Ability to investigate numbers and connect them back to real freight-business drivers

- Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge business teams with data
