Hiring: Part-Time / Freelance Accounts & Taxation Professional

We are looking for an experienced Accounts & Taxation Professional to work with our firm on a part-time / freelance basis.
The role will primarily involve managing day-to-day accounting on Zoho Books, along with ensuring timely and accurate GST and TDS compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping on Zoho Books
- Maintain ledgers, vouchers, reconciliations and accounting records
- Handle monthly GST compliance and GST filings
- Handle monthly TDS calculations, returns and related compliance
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
- Coordinate and provide necessary information for statutory compliance
- Maintain proper documentation and records for accounting and taxation
- Assist with month-end closing and basic financial reporting
- Ensure compliance deadlines are tracked and met on time
- Coordinate with our internal team / external professionals wherever required
What We're Looking For
- 4–5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation
- Strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books
- Good working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance
- Ability to independently manage accounting and statutory filings
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of Indian accounting practices
- Comfortable working independently on a freelance / part-time basis
- Candidates based in or around Borivali, Mumbai preferred
