Company Description Bonjour Techies is a fast-growing online agency that helps advertisers reach targeted and qualified customers through a large network of individual publishers. The company focuses on building strong, results-driven relationships between advertisers and publishers. By bringing both parties closer together, Bonjour Techies creates an environment where collaboration leads to better business outcomes.
The agency is committed to delivering performance that exceeds expectations and supports sustainable growth for its partners.
Role Description We’re looking for a highly proactive and ambitious Founder’s Office Intern to work closely with the founder across business, operations, and selected personal responsibilities.
This is not a typical internship where you are given a fixed list of tasks. You will work directly with the founder and get exposure to how a growing business is built, operated, and scaled.
The ideal person is someone who takes ownership, thinks ahead, asks questions, and gets things done. Your role will be to gradually take things off the founder’s plate—whether that means researching a market, following up with someone, organizing information, preparing a presentation, tracking an important task, improving a process, or simply noticing something that needs to be done and taking care of it.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with the founder on day-to-day business and strategic priorities.
- Take ownership of tasks and projects from start to finish, rather than waiting for constant instructions.
- Conduct market, competitor, customer, and industry research and turn it into helpful insights.
- Prepare presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other decision-making material.
- Track important business metrics,
priorities, deadlines, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with internal team members, clients, partners, and external vendors when required.
- Help organize and streamline business processes, documentation, and information.
- Identify things that can be improved and proactively suggest better ways of doing them.
- Participate in brainstorming and problem-solving around business growth, operations, and new ideas.
- Assist the founder with selected personal and administrative responsibilities when required.
- Handle ad-hoc priorities that come up in a fast-moving founder-led business.
- Most importantly, reduce the founder’s workload by taking ownership of things that would otherwise remain on their plate.
What We’re Looking For
- High ownership and accountability. If you take something up, you make sure it gets completed.
- Proactive mindset. You don't wait for someone to tell you every next step. You think, ask, and act.
- Curiosity. You naturally want to understand how things work and why they are done a certain way.
- Ambition. You want to learn quickly, take on more responsibility, and grow beyond a typical internship role.
- Solid problem-solving and research skills. You can find information, make sense of it, and turn it into something useful.
- Good communication skills. You can write clearly, communicate with different people,
and ask the right questions.
- Strong organization. You can manage multiple priorities, follow-ups, deadlines, and moving pieces without losing track.
- Attention to detail. You notice things that others may overlook.
- Ability to work independently. You are comfortable figuring things out instead of constantly asking what to do next.
- Comfort with ambiguity. Startup environments change quickly, and priorities may change from one day to the next.
- Comfortable using basic tools such as Google Sheets/Excel, Google Docs, presentations, email, and task-management tools, with the willingness to learn new tools quickly.
- Interest in business, startups, online advertising, digital agencies, technology, or entrepreneurship is a plus.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is preferred, but we care more about your mindset and ability than your degree.
The Kind of Person Who Will Do Well Here You don't need to know everything when you join. You need to be willing to figure things out.
If you see a problem, your first instinct should be: “How can I solve this?” rather than “Who is responsible for this?”
If the founder gives you a task, you should think beyond the task itself—understand the objective, figure out what needs to happen, and follow it through to completion.
This role is best suited for someone who wants real exposure to a founder, real responsibility, and a steep learning curve, rather than simply adding an internship to their résumé.
The goal is simple: start as an intern, earn trust through ownership, and gradually become someone the founder can rely on.
