Role Description The Fire Fighting Site Engineer role is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Site

Engineer will oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection and detection systems at project locations, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, civil and structural teams, contractors, and clients, monitoring work progress, and maintaining quality control documentation. The role also involves conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues,



preparing reports, and ensuring that all work adheres to the company’s “No Safety No Work” policy.

The engineer will support handover and AMC-related activities by verifying system readiness, guiding site personnel on operation, and collaborating with internal teams to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong on-site project execution skills, including site supervision, coordination, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for working with clients, contractors, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess quality control and inspection skills to ensure systems meet design, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to installation of fire protection systems.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Fire, or related engineering discipline.
- Understanding of fire safety codes, standards, and statutory regulations (e.g., NBC, NFPA or equivalent).
- Experience in fire protection projects, construction, or building services engineering is an advantage; motivated fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation, with basic proficiency in MS Office and project reporting tools.
