We are hiring a Financial Analyst on behalf of our client, a leading player in the investment banking space. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers with strong analytical and financial modeling skills to kickstart their career in investment banking. You'll work closely with senior analysts and associates on financial research, valuation, and deal support activities.

Role & responsibilities

- Conduct financial research, industry analysis, and company valuations
- Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, Comparable Company Analysis)
- Assist in preparing pitch books, investment memos, and client presentations
- Analyze financial statements, annual reports, and market data
- Support due diligence process for M&A;, IPOs, and fundraising transactions
- Track market trends, industry news, and competitor analysis
- Prepare Excel-based financial summaries and PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders




- Assist senior team members in deal execution and client deliverables
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial reports and analysis

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field (MBA/CFA candidates preferred)
- Robust understanding of financial statements, ratios, and valuation techniques
- Proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling, formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of DCF, LBO, Comps, and valuation methodologies
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interest in capital markets, M&A;, and investment banking
