Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounts Lead to manage and support finance and accounting operations, with a major focus on managing entities engaged in IT services and retail operations in the US. The role will be responsible for accounting, financial reporting, month-end closing, compliance, reconciliations, and supporting financial decision-making.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead and assist in managing entities engaged in IT services and retail operations in the US.
- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations for US entities.
- Handle general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and variance analysis.
- Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements across entities.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, accounting policies, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external financial stakeholders.
- Support tax, audit, and statutory reporting requirements for US entities.
- Monitor receivables, payables, working capital, and cash flow.




- Identify and implement process improvements and accounting efficiencies.
- Provide financial analysis and support to senior management and business teams.
- Assist in managing and mentoring the finance and accounts team.
- Work closely with business and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably with exposure to US-based entities.
- Experience in IT services and/or retail operations will be an advantage.
