Hiring: Field Account Manager for MTS Systems Corporation

Location: Pune | Experience: 8 - 15yrs | Mode: Hybrid

Most sales roles ask you to sell a product. This one asks you to understand a customer's engineering problem first. I'm hiring for a Field Account Manager with MTS Systems, a global leader in test and simulation technology. The role owns a regional territory and is responsible for growing orders, product mix and margin.

What you'll do :

- Pursue and win new customers in your assigned region
- Manage complex opportunities at major accounts
- Sell to every level of the customer's organisation, from the test engineer to the leadership team
- Recommend improvements to customers' test techniques and methodologies
- Lead the pursuit team on larger deals

What we're looking for

- A BS in engineering or a technical discipline, or equivalent work experience




- Around 8+ years of sales experience (or 5 years of relevant MTS experience plus 5 years of sales)
- In-depth knowledge of testing technologies and test methodologies
- Robust persuasion skills and the ability to create opportunities where none exist
- Established relationships with key industry influencers in your territory
- Comfort selling standard products with little or no application-engineer support
