Job Title: Receptionist cum Billing Operator

Job Type: Full-time / Shift-based Job SummaryWe are looking for a friendly, energetic, and organized Receptionist cum Billing Operator to join our pizza shop team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service. Your dual responsibility will include warmly greeting dine-in guests, managing phone inquiries, accurately taking pizza orders, and processing payments quickly through our Point of Sale (POS) billing system. Key Responsibilities1.

Front

Desk & Reception Duties:

- Greet walk-in customers with a warm, welcoming attitude and guide them to their seating or take-away waiting area.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly to take direct orders, handle reservation inquiries, or resolve basic customer queries.
- Coordinate efficiently with the kitchen staff and delivery riders to ensure smooth pickup and dispatch of online or takeaway orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front desk and reception area.

2. Billing & POS Operations:

- Punch orders accurately into the POS software according to customer choices (crust types, toppings, custom meal deals, etc.).
- Generate accurate bills and invoices for dine-in, takeaway, and direct home delivery orders.
- Process payments smoothly via cash, credit/debit cards, and digital UPI/mobile wallets.




- Maintain the cash drawer securely, ensuring that the physical cash matches the system reports at the end of each shift.

3. Customer Service:

- Upsell promotional offers, combo meals, and specific menu items politely to increase average order values.
- Address customer complaints or billing issues calmly and professionally, escalating complex issues to the Manager when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Minimum 12th pass or higher (a degree or diploma in Hospitality, Commerce, or Retail management is a plus).
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in a restaurant, café, fast-food joint, or retail setting. Freshers with valuable communication skills are welcome to apply.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge and comfort using POS/billing software. Excellent numerical and calculation skills.
- Soft Skills: Fluent or polite conversational skills in the local language and basic English. Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure during peak rush hours (weekends and evenings).
- Attributes: Punctual, honest, well-groomed, and an excellent team player.
