Role Description The Faculty – Civil Structural Design role is a part-time remote position focused on delivering high-quality training in civil and structural design concepts and software tools. The faculty member will plan and conduct online lectures, practical sessions, and project-based exercises, ensuring learners understand core principles and their real-world applications.

Responsibilities include preparing course materials, assignments, and assessments; guiding learners through design workflows; and providing constructive feedback to support skill development.



The role also involves staying current with industry trends, collaborating on curriculum updates, and mentoring learners on career paths in civil and structural engineering.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering fundamentals, including analysis and design of structural elements.
- Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or similar tools).
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and delivering online technical training.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly, guide project-based learning, and provide detailed academic and technical feedback.
- Prior industry experience in civil/structural design, consulting, or construction projects is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners in a remote setting.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with global codes, standards, and emerging design practices.
