Role Description The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring that production targets are met safely, on time, and within quality standards. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and involves coordinating production schedules, managing shop-floor teams, and optimizing the use of machinery, materials, and resources.

Manager will monitor performance metrics, implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies. The role includes close collaboration with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve operational issues, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Manager will also prepare regular reports, manage budgets related to operations, and support training and development of factory personnel.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to organize workflows and meet output targets.
- Experience in Quality Control to maintain product standards and support continuous quality improvement.
- Proficiency in Operations Management and Manufacturing Operations to oversee processes, resources, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management abilities, including team supervision, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Solid understanding of industrial safety practices, regulatory compliance, and basic maintenance coordination.
- Ability to analyze data, use manufacturing KPIs, and apply problem-solving skills to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and preparing concise operational reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field; relevant experience in a factory or plant environment is highly desirable.
