Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible AFIH Doctor to manage the medical needs of factory employees, provide immediate medical assistance during emergencies, and ensure the effective functioning of the factory medical room. The doctor will be responsible for handling workplace injuries, medical emergencies, employee health check-ups, and occupational health activities while ensuring compliance with applicable occupational health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide immediate medical attention and first aid to factory employees during medical emergencies, workplace injuries, and accidents.
- Assess employees' medical conditions and coordinate ambulance services and referrals to nearby hospitals whenever required.
- Manage and maintain the factory medical room, including medicines, medical equipment, emergency supplies, and first-aid facilities.
- Conduct routine employee health check-ups and monitor employees' health conditions.
- Perform pre-employment, periodic, and other occupational health examinations as applicable.
- Maintain employee medical records, emergency registers, accident-related medical documentation, and health reports with appropriate confidentiality.
- Identify potential occupational health risks and recommend preventive measures to minimize workplace-related illnesses and injuries.
- Coordinate with the HR, EHS,



and factory operations teams on employee health, workplace safety, and medical emergency preparedness.
- Conduct health awareness sessions on hygiene, occupational health, lifestyle diseases, and workplace wellness.
- Ensure the readiness of emergency response arrangements, including first-aid kits, stretchers, and other essential medical equipment.
- Support statutory medical examinations and compliance requirements applicable to the factory under relevant laws.
- Coordinate with hospitals, diagnostic centres, and external healthcare providers for employee medical care and emergency support.
- Prepare periodic reports on medical consultations, workplace injuries, health-check-up findings, and other occupational health activities.

Required Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency management skills.
- Ability to handle workplace injuries and medical emergencies independently within the scope of training and available facilities.
- Knowledge of occupational health, industrial hygiene, and workplace safety practices.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation and confidential employee health records.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to remain calm during emergencies.
