Job Summary

We are looking for experienced professionals with 4–8 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, preferably in sterile/ injectable formulations, to join our Formulation Development team at Pashamylaram.

The role involves development and optimization of injectable formulations, laboratory-scale trials, documentation, technology transfer support, and coordination with cross-functional teams for successful product development.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize sterile injectable formulations in accordance with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Plan and execute formulation development trials, including laboratory-scale and pilot-scale studies.
- Conduct formulation screening, optimization, and compatibility studies for APIs and excipients.
- Perform evaluation of critical formulation and process parameters.
- Support development of SVP/LVP, lyophilized or liquid injectable formulations, as applicable.
- Prepare and review formulation development protocols, reports, batch records and other technical documents.
- Analyze development data and prepare technical reports with appropriate conclusions.
- Coordinate with Analytical R&D;, IPQA, Production, Engineering, Packaging and Regulatory Affairs teams.
- Support scale-up, exhibit/engineering batches and technology transfer activities.




- Participate in troubleshooting formulation/process-related issues during development and scale-up.
- Ensure development activities are conducted in compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, development data and documentation.
- Support preparation of technical responses and documentation required for regulatory submissions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of formulation and manufacturing processes.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4–8 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical formulation development.
- Solid hands-on experience in injectable/sterile formulation development.
- Knowledge of formulation development principles, excipient selection and optimization.
- Experience with laboratory trials, scale-up and technology transfer.
- Understanding of aseptic processing and sterile manufacturing concepts.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical development documentation and GMP requirements.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification

- M.Pharm
- Candidates with a specialization/background in Pharmaceutics/Formulation Development will be preferred.

Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas will be advantageous:

- Sterile injectable formulation development
- Lyophilized injectables
- Liquid injectables
- Parenteral formulations
- Scale-up and technology transfer
- Formulation optimization and troubleshooting
- Regulatory documentation for injectable products
