Role Description The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations at Atmantan Wellness Centre in the Pune District. This full-time, on-site role includes supervising housekeeping team members, assigning daily tasks, and ensuring that guest rooms, suites, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.

The Executive

Housekeeper monitors inventory and usage of linen, guest supplies, and cleaning materials, coordinating timely procurement and cost-effective usage. The role also involves training and mentoring staff, implementing standard operating procedures, conducting regular inspections, and working closely with Front Office and Maintenance to support smooth guest experiences.

Housekeeper is expected to handle guest requests and feedback professionally, uphold safety and sanitation regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement in housekeeping processes.

Qualifications

- Strong housekeeping operations and room management skills, including supervision of cleaning processes, linen management, and public area upkeep.
- Leadership and team management abilities, with experience in training, scheduling, performance monitoring, and motivating diverse team members.
- Attention to detail and quality control skills to ensure consistent cleanliness, maintenance reporting, and adherence to wellness-centre standards.
- Guest service and communication skills, with the ability to handle requests, resolve concerns, and collaborate effectively with other departments.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene practices, including compliance with sanitation standards and safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Prior experience in hospitality or luxury resort housekeeping leadership roles; wellness or spa environment experience is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune District, adapt to a high-service environment, and manage operations in a quick-paced setting.
