Key Responsibilities

- Tender & Document Review: Read and interpret architectural, structural, or MEP drawings, contract conditions, and technical specifications.

- Quantity Take-Offs: Calculate exact material and resource requirements using drawings or digital takeoff tools.

- Cost Calculation: Estimate expenses for materials, labor, sub-vendors, equipment, and project overheads.

- Vendor Coordination: Request and compare quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.

- Value Engineering: Suggest cost-saving alternatives or design optimizations without lowering quality or compliance.

- Proposal Preparation: Compile comprehensive techno-commercial bid documents, pricing schedules, and tender submissions.

- Record Keeping: Maintain historical cost databases and track pricing updates for future projects.

Qualifications & Skills





- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, production Engineering.

- Experience: 2 to 7+ years of relevant estimation or pricing experience in the construction or contracting sector.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, and/or specialized industry estimation software.

- Core Competencies: Robust numerical aptitude, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and knowledge of market rates and contracting standards.
