We are looking for an experienced ERP Functional Consultant to manage and support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of ERP solutions across key business functions including Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, HR, and Payroll.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of ERP systems, excellent business analysis skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and manage the functional development of ERP modules covering Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, HR, and Payroll.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into explicit functional requirements, user stories, workflows, and specifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, developers, QA, and other stakeholders throughout the product development and implementation lifecycle.
- Prioritize user stories and maintain the product backlog based on business and customer requirements.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered within the agreed timelines.
- Prepare and maintain Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), process documents, user stories, workflows, and other project documentation.
- Participate in Sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings as part of an Agile/Scrum team.
- Work with QA and Support teams to identify, classify, prioritize, and resolve functional issues and defects.
- Conduct functional testing, validation, and support UAT and ERP implementation activities.
- Monitor product progress and communicate updates, requirements, timelines, and implementation status to relevant stakeholders.




- Act as the primary functional point of contact for ERP-related queries and provide appropriate guidance to customers and internal teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend practical ERP solutions based on business requirements.
- Support ERP implementation, configuration, training, documentation, and post-implementation activities.
- Ensure that delivered solutions meet the defined business and functional requirements.

Requirements

- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
- 2–3+ years of experience as an ERP Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, ERP Product Consultant, or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience in ERP implementation and functional consulting.
- Good understanding of ERP business processes, workflows, and system functionality.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong documentation, organization, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with ERP platforms such as ERPNext, Frappe, SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of ERP configuration and implementation methodologies.
- Experience with UAT, functional testing, process mapping, and user training.
- Basic understanding of APIs, databases, integrations, and software development processes will be an advantage.
