Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements and design

- Study current workflows (enquiry to quotation to proforma to sales order to dispatch to invoice to collection, and PO to GRN to stock to payment) and document them

- Convert business needs into functional and technical specifications

- Design the data model for steel items (size, schedule, grade, type, length, heat/batch number, MTC) and unit conversions (Nos, Meters, Kgs)

1. Development and configuration

- Build and maintain modules for: purchase order issuance and tracking, GRN, stock and stock costing, sales quotation, proforma invoice, sales order, dispatch order and dispatch tracking, tax invoice, credit control, and MIS reports

- Implement e-invoice (IRN/QR) and e-way bill generation through GST APIs or a GSP

- Build workflows, approvals, role-based access and audit trails for price, discount and stock changes

- Build dashboards and reports: godown-wise stock, stock valuation, margin, receivable ageing, branch-wise P&L;

1. Integration and data

- Integrate with Tally (or the accounting module)



so stock and books reconcile

- Plan and execute data migration: masters, opening stock, outstanding balances

- Integrate third-party systems as needed (GST portal, SMS/WhatsApp/email, transport or tracking tools)

1. Implementation and rollout

- Prepare test cases, run UAT with users, fix issues, and manage go-live

- Train users at all branches and godowns and prepare manuals and SOPs

- Provide post go-live support and stabilization

1. Maintenance and governance

- Maintain the system in line with GST and other statutory changes

- Manage backups, security, access control, performance and disaster recovery

- Maintain documentation, version control and change logs so knowledge is not dependent on one person

- Track user requests, prioritize with management, and report progress regularly

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
