Role Description The Environmental Scientist role at Good Earth Enviro Care is a full-time, on-site position located in South 24 Parganas.

The Environmental

Scientist will conduct field sampling and on-site inspections of water, soil, sludge, and waste streams, as well as document field conditions and observations. This role includes performing laboratory analyses, interpreting test results, and preparing clear technical reports and datasets for internal and client use.

Scientist will participate in environmental impact assessments, wetlands surveys,



and compliance evaluations while supporting consulting projects for government, industrial, and community clients. Daily responsibilities also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining accurate records, adhering to safety and quality protocols, and engaging with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Environmental Science and Environmental Impact Assessment.
- Candidates should possess practical Field Work skills, including site surveys, sampling, and data collection.
- Candidates should possess knowledge related to Wetlands, habitat assessment, and ecological monitoring.
- Candidates should possess abilities in Environmental Consulting, including reporting, client communication, and regulatory understanding.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Geology, or a related field.
- Experience with environmental sampling techniques, laboratory practices, and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with local and national environmental regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work safely in office in varied field conditions and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
