Position: English Teacher

Grades: G6 to G10

Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of teaching experience in a school/educational institution

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum.

Teach English language, grammar, literature, reading, writing, and communication skills.

Develop students’ vocabulary, comprehension, creative writing, and speaking abilities.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning resources.

Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.

Maintain an effective and positive classroom environment.

Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication among students.

Use innovative and activity-based teaching methodologies and appropriate digital tools.

Maintain student records and complete academic documentation on time.





Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress and development.

Participate in school events, activities, meetings, and professional development programmes.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English or a relevant discipline.

B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.

Passion for teaching and working with children.

Good knowledge of English language and literature.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team.
