Role Description The Engineering Manager role at NextMantra AI is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. This role is responsible for leading and mentoring engineering teams, setting technical direction, and ensuring high-quality delivery of software solutions that support the company’s platforms and consulting services.

Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing software development projects, coordinating cross-functional collaboration, managing project timelines and priorities, and driving best practices in architecture, coding standards, testing, and integration.

The Engineering

Manager will work closely with product, operations,



and talent teams to align technical roadmaps with business goals, improve system performance and reliability, and support the growth and development of individual team members. The role also involves identifying process improvements, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability, and ensuring that engineering efforts are scalable, secure, and aligned with client needs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills to guide, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Software Development experience, with hands-on expertise in contemporary languages, frameworks, and system design.
- Candidates should possess effective Project Management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between internal systems, platforms, and external services.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Additional beneficial skills include experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and API-driven architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication, and experience working in fast-paced, product-centric environments are preferred.
- Prior experience managing engineering teams in AI, data-intensive, or enterprise technology domains, and familiarity with talent or HR tech platforms, is a plus
