Shivanjali Creation Private Limited is hiring an experienced Embroidery Puncher (Digitizer) for our salwar suit embroidery work at our unit in Sachin, Surat. If you have robust Wilcom and EMCAD skills and know how designs stitch on ladies' wear fabrics, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Punch (digitize) embroidery designs for salwar suits: neck, sleeves, daman, dupatta borders, patches and all-over designs
- Convert design images, sketches or samples into clean, machine-ready stitch files
- Set the correct stitch type, density, underlay, pull compensation and stitch direction for fabrics like georgette, cotton, silk and net
- Plan color sequence and thread changes to reduce thread breaks and machine stoppages
- Make test samples and correct designs until the output is clean
- Resize and adjust designs for different fabrics and sizes without losing quality
- Work with machine operators and the supervisor to fix stitching problems
- Save and back up all design files properly
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of embroidery punching experience, preferably on salwar suit, dress material or ladies wear
- Must know Wilcom and EMCAD
- Good knowledge of satin, fill, running, sequin and cording stitches
- Understanding of how designs behave on different fabrics
- Ability to work fast, handle multiple designs and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of machine formats such as DST is a plus
