Role Summary

Responsible for developing and coordinating 3D electrical MEP models for building and infrastructure projects using Revit, with a focus on cable tray design, cable routing, and electrical equipment modelling. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project compliance and BIM standards.

What Youll Do

- Develop accurate 3D electrical MEP models using Revit
- Model cable trays, cable routing, junction boxes, and electrical equipment layouts
- Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing teams for MEP integration
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage
- Review and interpret electrical schematics, SLDs, and technical drawings
- Generate detailed electrical, shop, and as-built drawings
- Support project teams in BIM coordination meetings and model reviews
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards and protocols
- Collaborate with design engineers to update models as per design changes

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):




- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience as an Electrical Modeller in MEP/BIM projects
- Expertise in Revit (Electrical discipline) for large-scale MEP projects
- Solid knowledge of cable tray routing & supports, cable management, JB placement, electrical room layouts, and electrical equipment modelling
- Proficient in Navisworks (clash detection and coordination workflows)
- Skilled in AutoCAD for 2D electrical drafting
- Understanding of MEP coordination, BIM workflows, and industry standards (e.g., IEC, IS codes)
- Teamwork and communication skills

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Experience in industrial or infrastructure MEP projects
- Familiarity with BIM 360 or other CDEs
- Basic understanding of electrical load calculations or design principles

Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
