Role Description The Electrical Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for overseeing all electrical engineering activities for infrastructure projects. The role includes planning, reviewing, and coordinating electrical designs and power distribution systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. Daily tasks involve supervising electrical installation and maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, managing contractors and vendors, and monitoring quality, timelines, and costs.

Manager collaborates closely with project managers, civil and mechanical teams, and consultants to integrate electrical systems within overall project plans, prepares technical documentation and reports, and supports testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical works. The role also involves implementing best practices in energy efficiency and reliability, and guiding site teams on secure and effective electrical operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with a solid understanding of applicable codes and standards.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Electrical Design and Power Distribution, including system planning, load calculations, and network configuration.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Electrical Maintenance, including fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and system reliability improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Relevant experience managing electrical works on large infrastructure, industrial, or transportation projects.
- Knowledge of EPC project environments, construction methodologies, and site safety practices.
- Proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools, and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams.
