EDM Operator – Location: Peenya, Bengaluru, Karnataka Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹25,000 per month Experience: Minimum 1 year Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Job ResponsibilitiesOperate and set up EDM machines for precision machining of components. Read and understand engineering drawings and machining requirements. Set machine parameters according to job specifications.
Monitor the machining process and ensure accurate dimensions and quality. Perform basic machine inspection, cleaning, and maintenance. Measure finished components using appropriate measuring instruments.
Identify machining defects and make necessary adjustments. Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.
Coordinate with the production and quality teams to meet production targets.
RequirementsMinimum 1 year of experience as an EDM Operator . ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred. Candidates with experience in EDM machine operation will be preferred. Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and precision measurements.
Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper and micrometer. Valuable understanding of machining processes and production requirements. Willingness to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
