NJD:

NEDI Developer with strongJava and SQL experience to develop and enhance healthcare EDI features from the product backlog. The developer will work with Product, Business, and QE teams to understand requirements and deliver features through development, testing, and deployment.

NKey Responsibilities

nDevelop and enhance healthcare EDI features based on backlog requirements.

NWork with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand user stories and requirements.

NDevelop solutions using Java, SQL, APIs, and integration technologies.

NWork with healthcare EDI transactions and integrations.

NTroubleshoot and fix application issues and defects.

NWork with QE teams on testing and resolving defects.

NParticipate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos.

NDeploy and support features through production.

NUse Azure and Azure DevOps for development and deployment.





NUse AI-assisted development tools to improve development productivity.

NRequired Skills

nStrong hands-on Java experience and SQL skills.

NHands-on experience with EDI development and integrations.

NExperience with healthcare EDI / HIPAA transactions.

NExperience with REST APIs/ web services.

NWorking knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.

NExperience working in an Agile development environment.

NStrong problem-solving and debugging skills.

NExperience with AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Azure.

NPreferred

nExperience with 837, 835, 834, 270/271, and 276/277 transactions.

NExperience with CI/CD, Git/GitHub, and automated testing.

NExperience modernizing orenhancing existing EDI applications.

NExperience

n10+ years of relevant software development experience with solid hands-on experience in Java, SQL, EDI, and healthcare integrations.
