About the Role

Zavya is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented E-commerce Receivables & Reconciliation Executive to manage and monitor receivables reconciliation across various E-commerce and Quick Commerce platforms.

The candidate will be responsible for downloading and analysing marketplace reports, reconciling sales and collections with books of accounts, identifying discrepancies, tracking deductions and settlements, and ensuring that receivables are accurately accounted for and followed up.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with E-commerce marketplaces / Quick Commerce platforms and should be comfortable working extensively on Excel and platform portals.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform end-to-end receivables reconciliation for E-commerce and Quick Commerce channels.
- Download and analyse sales, order, settlement, payment, returns, deductions, commission and other relevant reports from marketplace portals.
- Reconcile marketplace sales and receivables with books of accounts / ERP records.
- Reconcile customer/marketplace-wise outstanding balances and identify differences.
- Track and reconcile collections received against respective invoices/ orders/ settlements.
- Analyse settlement reports and identify:
- Commission and marketplace fees
- Returns and cancellations
- Discounts and promotional deductions
- Debit/Credit notes
- Claims and other deductions




- Short payments / excess payments
- Other settlement adjustments
- Prepare channel-wise and marketplace-wise reconciliation statements on a regular basis.
- Investigate and resolve differences between marketplace reports, ERP/books and bank receipts.
- Maintain proper ageing of receivables and follow up on long-outstanding balances.
- Track pending receivables, unreconciled amounts, claims and deductions and coordinate with internal teams / marketplace representatives for resolution.
- Prepare reports relating to receivables, collections, reconciliation status and outstanding balances.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities by ensuring receivables are properly reconciled and accounted for.
- Coordinate with Accounts, Finance, Sales, Operations and marketplace teams for resolution of reconciliation issues.
- Identify recurring reconciliation issues and suggest process improvements to strengthen the receivables reconciliation process.

Required Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in an E-commerce, Quick Commerce, D2C or Marketplace environment.




- Prior experience working with E-commerce / Quick Commerce portals and downloading reports directly from platforms is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience in receivables reconciliation, settlement reconciliation and payment reconciliation.
- Candidates with experience handling multiple marketplaces/channels will be preferred.
- Experience in reconciling marketplace settlements with ERP / accounting books and bank receipts will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills

Mandatory:

- Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work with large-volume data and perform data analysis.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software such as Tally, Odoo or similar ERP systems.
- Familiarity with E-commerce / Quick Commerce marketplace portals and settlement dashboards.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS/TCS and marketplace deductions.

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent finance qualification preferred

Industry Preference: E-commerce / Quick Commerce / D2C / Marketplace

Excel: Advanced / Strong Working Knowledge
