NEED IMMEDIATE JOINERS!

Responsible for performing KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, PEP screening, and adverse media screening for clients across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.

The role involves reviewing client information, identifying potential financial crime and regulatory risks, investigating screening alerts, distinguishing true matches from false positives, documenting findings, and escalating potential risks to the appropriate compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. KYC / Customer Due Diligence

- Perform KYC onboarding and periodic KYC recertification.
- Verify customer identity and supporting documents.
- Review customer profile, business activities, ownership and control structure.
- Identify and verify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs).
- Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) based on customer risk.
- Review Source of Funds (SoF) and Source of Wealth (SoW) information where required.




- Identify and assess potential customer risks.

2. Sanctions Screening

- Screen customers and entities against global sanctions lists.
- Conduct screening against OFAC, UN, EU and other applicable sanctions lists.
- Review and investigate potential sanctions alerts.
- Determine whether an alert is a true match or false positive.
- Escalate potential sanctions matches according to internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of investigations and decisions.

3. PEP Screening

- Identify Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
- Screen for PEPs, family members and close associates where applicable.
- Verify PEP information using reliable sources.
- Assess the customer's potential risk.
- Support Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk PEP relationships.
- Document and escalate PEP findings where required.
