We are an EPC Construction Company and are looking for Dy Project Manager - Bio Medical for our ongoing Hospital Project in Ali Bagh, Maharashtra . The DPM - BIO Medical should be:-

A Deputy General Manager (DGM) of Biomedical Engineering in a construction company bridges the gap between healthcare engineering and infrastructure development. This senior leadership role focuses on healthcare construction projects—such as hospitals, research clinics, and diagnostic labs—ensuring that building designs, structural layouts, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services seamlessly integrate with advanced medical equipment.

The DGM of Biomedical Engineering will lead the planning, procurement, technical integration, and commissioning of medical equipment for hospital and healthcare construction projects. This role ensures that all construction activities align with the specialized technical, clinical, and regulatory requirements of sophisticated biomedical systems, delivering turnkey healthcare facilities on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Technical Integration

- Review architectural layouts and structural blueprints to ensure exact fitment, spacing, and weight-bearing capacity for heavy medical equipment (e.g., MRI, CT scanners, Cath Labs).
- Coordinate with MEP teams to verify specific power, specialized HVAC (air changes, filtration, climate control), plumbing, medical gas piping, and radiation shielding requirements.
- Develop medical equipment layouts and room-by-room technical specifications during the pre-construction phase.

Procurement & Vendor Management

- Lead the evaluation and selection of global and local medical equipment vendors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).




- Standardize technical specifications and prepare Request for Proposals (RFPs) and tender documents.
- Negotiate high-value contracts, including warranty terms, comprehensive maintenance contracts (CMC), and long-term service level agreements (SLAs).

Site Execution & Commissioning

- Oversee site preparation to guarantee that environmental conditions (dust control, vibration limits, temperature) meet OEM delivery standards.
- Manage the testing, installation, and commissioning of all biomedical assets, ensuring zero downtime or damage during handover.
- Supervise a team of biomedical engineers and site supervisors across multiple project locations.

Compliance, Quality & Safety

- Ensure full compliance with local and international healthcare regulations, radiation safety bodies (e.g., AERB), and healthcare accreditation standards (e.g., JCI, NABH).
- Implement strict quality assurance and validation protocols for all installed medical machinery.

Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation

- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or Medical Electronics.
- Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or an MBA in Healthcare/Project Management is highly preferred.

Experience

- 12 to 15+ years of experience in biomedical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing hospital setup/healthcare construction projects.
- Proven track record of handling turnkey hospital projects from the design phase to final commissioning.
- Handled 4 more hospital projects.

Salary: Communsurate salary will be given as per the industry norms and relevant experience with qualifications Pay: From ₹150,000.00 per month
