Role Description The Dispatcher at S&R; Trucking is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon. This position is responsible for coordinating daily truck movements, assigning loads, and scheduling drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. The Dispatcher monitors shipment status, communicates with drivers and customers, and resolves routing or scheduling issues as they arise.

The role includes maintaining accurate records in dispatch systems, tracking equipment availability, and optimizing routes for safety and efficiency.



The Dispatcher collaborates closely with operations, customer service, and yard staff to support smooth, reliable intermodal transportation services.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage dispatch schedules, coordinate routes, and prioritize multiple shipments efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with drivers, customers, and internal teams in a clear, professional manner.
- Proficiency with dispatch or transportation management systems and basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
- Solid organizational and problem-solving skills to handle unexpected delays, route changes, and customer requests.
- Knowledge of transportation or intermodal operations; prior experience in trucking or logistics dispatch is an asset.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, recordkeeping, and data entry.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education in logistics, transportation, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
