- Power cycle equipment (power on/off) per instructions.
- Conduct remote visual inspections and provide status reports to the Global Functions (GF) team regarding cabinet workplace, indicator lights, or terminal displays.
- Enter input commands via cabinet-mounted consoles, following direct instructions.
- Label, relabel, and organize cabling within cabinets for clarity and compliance.
- Secure hardware components using cable ties, screws, and mechanical fasteners.
- Replace plug-in hardware (e.g., circuit cards) with spares or upgraded modules.
- Reseat shelf-mounted or slide-in circuit cards.
- Install and manage patch cords (Fiber/Ethernet).
- Rack and unrack devices in standard cabinets.
- Perform fiber power and light metering.
- Optional: Conduct fiber OTDR testing and save/send trace files.
