Role Description The Director at Akshayakalpa Organic will provide strategic leadership across business operations, driving growth while upholding the organization’s commitment to sustainability, farmer empowerment, and ethical practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting and monitoring organizational objectives, overseeing functional teams, and ensuring alignment of production, supply chain, and quality processes with company standards. The role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders, building partnerships, managing budgets,



and evaluating recent initiatives that strengthen the brand and expand market presence.

The Director will also mentor leadership teams, support farmer-centric programs, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organic certification requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

- Strategic leadership and management skills, including experience in setting long-term vision, leading cross-functional teams, and driving organizational change.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with proven ability in budgeting, resource allocation, and performance analysis for sustainable growth.
- Experience in agriculture, dairy, food, FMCG, or sustainability-focused enterprises, with familiarity in organic standards and supply chain operations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills to work with farmers, internal teams, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Demonstrated ability in program and project management, including planning, execution, risk management, and continuous improvement.
- Commitment to ethical practices, environmental sustainability, and community development, aligned with Akshayakalpa’s values.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Food Technology, or a related field; advanced leadership certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior leadership or director-level role, preferably in mission-driven or high-growth organizations.
