Role Description The Director will provide strategic leadership for KTM & Co’s practice, overseeing client engagements, managing key relationships, and ensuring quality delivery across audit, tax, and advisory services. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and signing off on complex assignments, guiding teams on technical and regulatory matters, and coordinating with partners and senior stakeholders on firm strategy and growth. The Director will lead business development initiatives, contribute to service-line expansion, and support marketing and networking efforts to strengthen the firm’s presence in Mumbai.

The role also involves mentoring and developing team members, driving operational efficiency,



and maintaining robust compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent, with substantial post-qualification experience in audit, tax, or advisory.
- Proven leadership experience in a professional services or consulting environment, including team management and performance coaching.
- Strong technical expertise in accounting standards, taxation, audit methodologies, and regulatory compliance relevant to Indian and international frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex client portfolios, build long-term relationships, and lead business development activities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a track record of sound professional judgment.
- Advanced communication and presentation capabilities, including the ability to explain complex financial and regulatory concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in strategic planning, practice management, and process improvement within a chartered accountancy or similar firm.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to ethical and professional standards; willingness to work on-site in Mumbai on a full-time basis.
