Role Description The Director will provide strategic leadership for JK Business School’s academic and administrative operations, ensuring alignment with the institute’s vision and long-term goals. In this full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, the Director will oversee program development, curriculum enhancement, and quality assurance across postgraduate and undergraduate management programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading faculty teams, fostering industry and academic partnerships, supervising admissions and student affairs, and promoting research, innovation, and outcome-based learning.

The Director will manage budgets and resources, drive accreditation and regulatory compliance, and support marketing, outreach, and branding initiatives to strengthen the institute’s standing.



Additionally, the role involves mentoring senior staff, cultivating an inclusive and ethical institutional culture, and engaging with stakeholders, including students, alumni, industry partners, and governing bodies.

Qualifications

- Advanced academic credentials in Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Ph.D. preferred), with significant experience in higher education leadership at a reputable institution.
- Proven expertise in academic administration, including program design, curriculum development, accreditation processes, and quality assurance in business or management education.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in mentoring faculty, leading multidisciplinary teams, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain industry, corporate, and academic partnerships, and to support placement, internships, and experiential learning initiatives.
- Experience in strategic planning, institutional growth, budgeting, and resource management, with the ability to balance academic integrity and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including public speaking, representation at academic forums, and engagement with regulatory bodies.
- Track record of research, publications, or thought leadership in management or related fields, and commitment to promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and continuous improvement.
