GlobalRadAssist is a teleradiology workflow and radiology support company working with healthcare organizations and radiologists internationally.
We are currently preparing for a healthcare imaging integration/pilot with a U.S. radiology organization and are looking for an experienced DICOM/PACS Integration Specialist on a contract basis to support the technical setup and integration process.
What you will work on
You will work directly with our founder and our radiology team to support a U.S. healthcare PACS/integration project involving:
- DICOM/PACS connectivity and troubleshooting
- Orthanc DICOM server configuration
- DICOM AE Titles, IP/network configuration and TCP ports
- VPN/network connectivity
- DICOM TLS/certificate configuration when required
- PACS/RIS workflow integration
- HL7 report/result transmission
- Intelerad / web-based radiology viewer workflow
- PowerScribe integration and workstation requirements
- DICOM testing, connectivity testing and troubleshooting
- Coordinating technical requirements with the client's PACS/IT team
- Preparing technical documentation and integration checklists
- Supporting calibration/pilot testing and production readiness
Required experience
- Hands-on experience with DICOM and PACS
- Experience configuring or troubleshooting Orthanc or another DICOM server
- Understanding of DICOM AE Title, IP address, TCP ports and DICOM networking
- Experience with VPN/network connectivity
- Working knowledge of HL7, particularly radiology/report workflows
- Experience integrating with PACS/RIS environments
- Ability to troubleshoot DICOM connectivity issues
- Experience working with healthcare organizations, radiology groups or teleradiology companies
- Good communication skills and ability to participate in technical calls with U.S.-based IT/PACS teams
