Diagnostics Services Head

Job Purpose To lead diagnostic services across facilities, ensuring reliable, timely and quality pathology and radiology services, with appropriate technical standards, reporting and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead pathology and radiology services across all Jio Arogya facilities and ensure defined diagnostic standards are maintained.
- Establish and monitor diagnostic SOPs, protocols, testing processes, reporting standards and quality controls.
- Oversee laboratory and radiology teams, including staffing, technical guidance, rosters and service availability.
- Ensure proper sample collection, handling, processing, testing, reporting and timely dispatch of diagnostic results.
- Monitor critical, abnormal and delayed reports and ensure timely escalation and clinical follow-up.
- Oversee diagnostic equipment, calibration, maintenance, breakdowns and technical readiness in coordination with relevant teams.
- Ensure availability and appropriate use of reagents, consumables and other diagnostic requirements in coordination with Supply Chain.
- Coordinate with Medical Services and Operations for investigations, referrals, patient requirements and continuity of care.
- Monitor diagnostic quality, turnaround time, sample rejection, reporting accuracy and other diagnostic KPIs.
- Lead investigation of diagnostic errors, discrepancies, sample rejection and quality issues and ensure corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laboratory/radiology standards, safety requirements,



biomedical waste procedures and accreditation requirements.
- Support internal, regulatory and accreditation audits and closure of observations.
- Review diagnostic MIS and performance trends and drive service improvement initiatives.
- Support training and competency development of laboratory and radiology staff.

Qualification MD/DNB Pathology or relevant postgraduate qualification; qualification in Radiology for applicable scope.

- Relevant senior experience in diagnostic laboratory, hospital, radiology or multi-centre diagnostic services.
- Knowledge of NABL/NABH or applicable diagnostic standards.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
