Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Golang Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Golang programming, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies.

The ideal candidate should have strong development and DevOps experience, with the ability to design, automate, deploy, and manage highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure and microservices-based applications.

Mandatory Skills

- Golang – Mandatory
- Hands-on experience with at least one additional programming/scripting language such as Python or Shell
- AWS – Mandatory
- Kubernetes – Mandatory
- Terraform – Mandatory
- Docker
- CI/CD – Jenkins / GitLab CI
- PostgreSQL
- REST APIs
- Microservices
- Kafka
- Strong experience in cloud infrastructure automation and deployment

Key Technical Skills

Golang & Development

- Strong hands-on experience in Golang development
- Experience developing scalable and production-grade applications/services using Go
- Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Experience with Spring Boot and Java-based microservices is preferred
- Experience with Python and/or Shell scripting

AWS & Cloud

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including:

- EC2
- Lambda
- S3
- RDS
- Glue Jobs
- EKS
- ECS
- Experience provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Knowledge of CloudFormation is an added advantage




- Good understanding of cloud security, reliability, availability, observability, and cost optimization
- Experience designing highly available and scalable AWS environments

DevOps & CI/CD

- Design, implement, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with:
- Jenkins
- GitLab CI
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments
- Implement container orchestration using AWS EKS/ECS
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and production troubleshooting

Kubernetes & Infrastructure

- Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and administration
- Experience deploying and managing containerized applications
- Hands-on experience with EKS
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and infrastructure optimization

Database & Messaging

- Strong experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience managing enterprise-level databases with high availability and 24/7 reliability
- Knowledge of database optimization, backup, and disaster recovery
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures

Architecture & Engineering Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native solutions




- Translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions
- Consider performance, security, reliability, availability, observability, compliance, and cost optimization while designing solutions
- Establish and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and governance processes
- Drive technical and architectural decisions across development, DevOps, QA, and security teams
- Design and implement high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions
- Monitor production environments and drive performance and reliability improvements
- Ensure cloud infrastructure follows security and compliance standards
- Automate repetitive operational and infrastructure tasks

Banking Domain

- Positive understanding of banking/financial services technology is preferred
- Knowledge of data architecture, analytics, and AI/ML applications in banking is an added advantage
- Awareness of regulatory, security, and compliance requirements impacting banking applications and cloud environments

Collaboration & Leadership

- Collaborate closely with Development, QA, Security, Data, and Infrastructure teams
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and development teams
- Establish technical best practices and engineering standards
- Stay updated with emerging cloud, DevOps, AI/ML, and banking technologies
- Contribute to technology strategy and continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred Certifications

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- TOGAF
- Other relevant AWS, Cloud, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications
