Key Responsibilities

- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system and infrastructure issues

- Analyze application logs, manage log backups, and perform routine system maintenance

- Configure and troubleshoot load balancers (experience with Nginx is a strong plus)

- Perform networking troubleshooting including routing, connectivity, VPN, and firewall issues

- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to appropriate internal teams such as software developers

- Document technical knowledge, procedures, and solutions in the form of notes and manuals

- Perform detailed troubleshooting and conduct full root cause analysis (RCA) to identify underlying issues and prevent recurrence

- Ensure system stability, uptime, and performance across environments

Required Skills & Experience

- 6 to 8 years of qualified experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Engineer

- Strong proficiency in Python, including Python testing best practices

- Experience working in and promoting Agile development environments

- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including EC2,



ECS, EKS, ECR, Route 53, SES, ElastiCache, RDS, Redshift, and CloudFormation

- Strong experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins

- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Travis, Drone, Mule, and Spinnaker

- Strong understanding of networking and security concepts including DNS, TCPDump, CDNs, SSL/TLS, Git, firewalls, VPCs, subnetting, and VPNs

- Experience deploying and supporting microservices-based architectures

- Experience working on high-traffic, international-scale systems

- Familiarity with software security best practices

- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools including PagerDuty, AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus, and Icinga
