About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analog Layout Engineer to join our dynamic team at SmartSoC Solutions Pvt Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and verifying high-quality full-custom analog and mixed-signal layouts for advanced semiconductor technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of layout design principles, especially within FinFET technology nodes, and have hands-on experience working with leading foundry processes such as Samsung, TSMC, or TI.

You will collaborate closely with circuit designers and process engineers to ensure that the layout meets all performance, power, area, and reliability specifications while adhering to foundry design rules.

Qualifications

- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Analog/Memory Layout Design.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience with FinFET technology or Samsung/TI/TSMC foundry process technologies.
- Strong experience in advanced technology nodes such as 2nm, 3nm, 5nm, or 7nm.
- Experience in custom analog layout,



DRC/LVS/ERC/PEX closure, and layout optimization.
- Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within a short notice period are preferred.

Responsibilities

- Develop high-quality full-custom analog and mixed-signal layouts, ensuring adherence to design specifications and foundry rules.
- Perform floorplanning, device matching, routing, shielding, and layout optimization for analog circuits to achieve optimal performance and reliability.
- Execute layout verification processes including Design Rule Check (DRC), Layout Versus Schematic (LVS), Electrical Rule Check (ERC), and parasitic extraction (PEX) to ensure design integrity.
- Ensure layout quality while meeting performance, power, area, and reliability requirements through iterative refinement and optimization.
- Collaborate with circuit designers to troubleshoot and resolve layout-related issues, providing insights for design improvements and performance enhancements.
- Work with advanced process technologies, including FinFET nodes at 2nm, 3nm, 5nm, and 7nm, ensuring compliance with the latest industry standards.
- Perform parasitic-aware layout optimization and support post-layout verification activities to validate design performance.




- Ensure all layouts are compliant with foundry-specific design rules and best practices, maintaining high standards of quality and manufacturability.
- Participate in design reviews, provide technical guidance, and contribute to silicon bring-up and characterization when required.
