Role

Independently undertake complete design and detailed engineering of LT panels, translating project specifications, SLDs, approved technical requirements and engineering inputs into manufacturingready drawings. Apply strong engineering judgement to identify and resolve technical gaps or discrepancies during detailed engineering.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and detail-engineer PCC, MCC, PMCC, APFC, VFD, Soft Starter, DG Synchronization, AMF, PDB/LDB and other LT panels.
- Review specifications, SLDs, technical requirements and estimation/engineering inputs; identify and flag technical gaps, discrepancies or omissions.
- Prepare complete GA, internal GA and component layouts, power and control schematics, busbar layouts and interconnection details.
- Detail panel sizing, section/compartment layouts and equipment placement; prepare terminal plans, wiring/interconnection and other manufacturing drawings.
- Incorporate customer comments and manage drawing revisions through the approval cycle.
- Ensure compliance with IEC 61439, relevant IS/IEC standards,



customer specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Coordinate with project, production and quality teams during manufacturing, assembly and FAT; resolve design queries during manufacturing and project execution.
- Prepare and maintain final as-built drawings. Candidate Profile
- Experienced candidates only, with hands-on LT panel design and detailed engineering experience in a panel manufacturing/panel-building workplace.
- Ability to independently engineer LT panels from SLDs and specifications to complete manufacturing-ready drawings.
- Strong practical understanding of panel construction, busbar systems, compartmentalization, wiring and manufacturing practices.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Good working knowledge of Schneider Electric switchgear and IEC 61439/relevant panel-building standards; exposure to ABB, Siemens, L&T; and other makes is an advantage.
- Experience with Forms of Separation, higher IP requirements and type-tested panel systems is an advantage.

Preferred: Hands-on experience in LT panel estimation and costing.
