About the Role

Emke Structures is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our team at the Perumbavoor office. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing architectural and structural 2D drafts, preparing K-Smart statutory permit submissions, coordinating with project teams, and handling technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare precise AutoCAD 2D drawings, including architectural layouts, structural details, elevations, and sections.
- Prepare, verify, and handle permit drawing submissions via the K-Smart portal in compliance with Kerala Municipality/Panchayat Building Rules.
- Develop 3D models and conceptual visualizations when needed.
- Assist in quantity estimation, preparing material schedules, and project documentation using MS Office (Excel & Word).
- Coordinate between the design office and project sites for drawing revisions, site verifications, and client updates.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: B.Arch / B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Diploma in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
- Experience:



Minimum 2 years of proven experience in architectural drafting, structural detailing, or civil construction design.
- Technical Skills:
- Mandatory: Solid proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and K-Smart drawing preparation/submission.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with SketchUp 3D, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Location & Mobility:
- Candidates residing within a 20 km radius of Perumbavoor (Female / Male).
- Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and personal two-wheeler for local site visits/coordination.
- Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.

Compensation & Terms
- Salary: Attractive compensation commensurate with experience, technical skill set, and performance.
- Probation: Initial 3-month probation period, leading to permanent placement based on evaluation.
