Design Engineer – Plumbing & Fire Fighting

Key Responsibilities

- Design and engineering of Plumbing & Fire Fighting systems for residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare design calculations, layouts, shop drawings, schematic diagrams and detailed engineering drawings.
- Design domestic water supply, drainage, rainwater harvesting, sanitary and plumbing systems.
- Design fire protection systems including hydrant, sprinkler, fire pump room, hose reel and fire water tank systems.
- Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, pump selection and equipment sizing as per project requirements.
- Prepare BOQ, material specifications and technical submittals.
- Coordinate with Architecture, Structural, HVAC, Electrical and other MEP disciplines to resolve design and site-related issues.
- Review drawings and ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA, IS codes and project/client specifications.
- Coordinate with site teams, consultants and contractors for design clarifications, RFIs and technical issues.
- Review shop drawings,



material submissions and as-built drawings.
- Conduct design reviews and clash coordination with other disciplines.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of relevant experience in Plumbing & Fire Fighting design within Construction/EPC/MEP projects.
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Experience in Hydraulic calculations and fire protection system design.
- Knowledge of NBC, NFPA and relevant IS standards.
- Valuable understanding of MEP coordination and construction practices.
- Ability to independently handle design deliverables and coordinate with project teams.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹11,443.36 - ₹60,000.00 per month
