After the internship: a chance to move into a full-time role, based on your performance
About Cuemath
Cuemath is a global math learning platform on a mission to make every child MathFit. More than 4,000 tutors teach with us, with students in 80+ countries. How our tutors feel about being part of the Cuemath community affects how they teach, how long they stay and how many friends they bring in. A lot of that feeling comes from what we say to them and how it looks.
About the internship
You'll join the small team that runs communication for our tutor community. You won't be doing practice projects. What you design will go live on our app and in our tutor groups, and thousands of tutors will see it every week.
You'll work side by side with our Community Engagement lead, who will brief you, review your work and help you improve quickly. We're looking for someone who loves design and also gets things done: you take a brief, make something valuable and get it out on time.
What you'll do
- Design creatives: app stories, WhatsApp cards, posters, campaign visuals and recognition certificates, all in the Cuemath brand style.
- Get them live on time: follow the monthly content calendar and make sure each piece goes out on its date.
- Work on feedback: share drafts early, take comments and improve the work quickly.
- Help with the newsletter: collect updates and help put together the monthly tutor newsletter.
- Support community sessions: help with invites, reminders,
materials and attendance for tutor sessions and our monthly recognition programme.
- Listen to the community: read the tutor groups and tell us what tutors are saying and how they feel.
- Track the numbers: help keep simple sheets of engagement and attendance up to date.
What you'll learn
- How to design for a real brand and a real audience of thousands
- How to plan, schedule and publish content to a calendar
- How community engagement works: listening to people, then communicating with them well
- How to use AI tools in everyday design and communication work
- How to read engagement data and use it to improve what you make
You'll be a great fit if you
- Are a final-year student or a recent graduate in design (communication, graphic or visual design, or similar).
- Are comfortable with Figma, Canva, or similar tools.
- Get things done: when you commit to a date, you meet it.
- Take feedback well and turn it around quickly.
- Write clear, simple English.
- Are curious about AI tools and pick up new ones fast.
Bonus points
- Video or motion editing skills
- You've run a college club, a community or a social media page
- You're comfortable with spreadsheets
- You're interested in education or in working with teachers
- Love design and have a portfolio to show us. College projects, freelance jobs and personal work all count.
After three months
If you do well, we'll consider you for a full-time role on the team. We'll decide based on the quality of your work, how reliably you deliver and how well you work with us.
