Role Description The Design and Estimate Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad. This position involves designing electrical power distribution panels and related systems, preparing detailed engineering drawings, and developing cost estimates and bills of materials for projects. The role includes reviewing client requirements, selecting appropriate components, coordinating with production and procurement teams, and ensuring designs adhere to relevant standards and safety regulations.





The engineer will also support technical queries from clients, participate in project planning, and contribute to continuous improvement of design and estimation processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for electrical panel and system layouts.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for detailed drawings and component integration.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills with knowledge of LT and HT power distribution systems.
- Relevant experience in designing electrical panels, transformers, or related power equipment is beneficial.
- Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality practices in electrical engineering.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline preferred.
