Role & responsibilities:

1. Quality Management System (QMS) & Planning

- Develop, implement, and maintain the corporate and project-specific Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.
- Formulate and approve Project Quality Plans (PQPs), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures within 30 days of project award.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality control and monitor defect rates, rework costs, and compliance metrics.

2. Procurement & Vendor Quality Control

- Review contractor and vendor quality requirements, technical submittals, and material data sheets.
- Oversee supplier/vendor manufacturing audits and pre-qualification inspections before dispatch to project sites.
- Coordinate third-party inspection agencies (TPIAs) and manage vendor inspector assignments.

3. Site Execution & Quality Control (QC)

- Supervise site QA/QC teams, discipline inspectors (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Welding/NDT), and resident engineers.
- Conduct regular physical inspections, audits, and surveillance checks on construction sites to verify compliance with approved drawings, method statements,



and international codes (ASME, API, ASTM, IEEE).
- Manage the issuance, tracking, and root-cause analysis (RCA) of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring timely implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).

4. Audits, Documentation & Handover

- Plan and conduct internal QMS audits and external subcontractor audits.
- Oversee compilation of final documentation, quality records, material test certificates, and completion/turnover packages for client handover.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client quality representatives, consultants, and statutory authorities during quality audits and project reviews.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Education: Bachelors degree (BE/B.Tech) in Civil Engineering, or Construction Management from AICTE/UGC approved Universities/Institutions (Must be Full time course)
- Experience: 8 to 14 years of progressive experience in QA/QC , project Quality having large-scale infrastructure EPC projects like, metro, roads, highways, buildings, oil, gas etc.
