Key Responsibilities :

- Act as a Functional Subject Matter Expert for SAP PP-PI and IS-Oil.
- Provide functional expertise across SAP Production Planning &
- Control for Process Industries, with a strong focus on production execution.
- Support SAP IS-Oil / Oil &
- Gas Downstream processes, including silo and tank management.
- Analyze and refine business processes in line with business requirements and SAP capabilities.
- Validate requirements, workflows, and functional solutions with business and IT stakeholders.
- Ensure functional correctness and alignment with expected system behavior.
- Lead the resolution of complex functional issues and provide solutions applicable across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders across international locations.
- Guide team members by sharing functional expertise and best practices.
- Support application management activities, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, business processes, and user experience.
- Contribute to functional documentation, training materials, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Participate in key functional decisions and take ownership of team-level outcomes.
- Ensure seamless integration and delivery of SAP solutions across relevant business functions.

Required Candidate Profile :

- 10 years of experience in SAP PP-PI / Production Planning &




- Control for Process Industries.
- Robust hands-on expertise in SAP PP-PI, particularly production execution.
- 5 years of relevant experience in SAP IS-Oil.
- Strong understanding of Oil &
- Gas Downstream processes.
- Experience with silo and tank management is highly preferred.
- Strong business process analysis and functional solutioning skills.
- Experience in SAP Application Management Support or similar SAP support environments.
- Strong stakeholder-management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work as a Functional SME and guide team members on complex functional challenges.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with international / European business and IT teams.
- Willingness to work in the US time zone.

Preferred Background :

- Experience in the Energy, Oil &
- Gas, Chemical, or Process Manufacturing industry.
- Strong exposure to SAP IS-Oil Downstream processes.
- Experience with production execution and silo/tank management.
- Experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and knowledge transfer.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with globally distributed teams.
