Role Description The Delivery Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ludhiana, responsible for overseeing daily delivery operations and ensuring timely, accurate order fulfillment. This role coordinates and supervises delivery partners, manages shift schedules, and monitors performance to meet service-level and quality standards.

The Delivery

Manager works closely with restaurant partners and internal teams to resolve operational issues, improve routes and processes, and support a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities include tracking key metrics, handling escalations, optimizing resources,



and implementing best practices that align with Food Airway’s mission of fairness and transparency. The role also involves contributing to local operational strategies and supporting the onboarding and training of new delivery partners.

Qualifications

- Operational management skills, including day-to-day delivery coordination, route optimization, and resource planning.
- Experience in team supervision, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and coaching of delivery partners or field staff.
- Customer service and stakeholder management skills to interact effectively with customers, restaurant partners, and internal teams.
- Analytical skills for tracking operational metrics, identifying process gaps, and implementing data-driven improvements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle escalations calmly and professionally.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools and apps used for delivery logistics and reporting.
- Previous experience in food delivery, logistics, operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related discipline is beneficial, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in office in Ludhiana, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
